Palstat on tarkoitettu vain helsinkiläisille eikä sinulla (ruokakunnallasi) saa olla kuin yksi palsta Helsingin alueella. Ruokakunnalla tarkoitetaan samassa asunnossa asuvia henkilöitä. Jos samasta kotiosoitteesta on tehty jo yksi hakemus, ei mahdollisia muiden saman ruokakunnan hakijoiden hakemuksia käsitellä.

Allotments are for Helsinki residents only and you (your household) can have only one allotment in Helsinki. A household means people living in the same apartment. If an application has already been made from the same home address, any applications from other applicants from the same household will not be processed.

Jos sinulla on jo pieni palsta Savelassa, voit halutessasi hakea jonottamalla lisätilaa/isompaa palstaa. Lähetä tällöin sähköpostia yhdistyksen sähköpostiosoitteeseen savelanpalstaviljelijat ( a ) gmail.com ja kerro toiveestasi. Lisätilatoiveita toteutetaan jonotusjärjestyksessä ja vain mikäli kokonaan uusien hakemusten tilanne sen sallii. Pyrimme siihen, että mahdollisimman moni pääsisi viljelemään ainakin pientä palstaa. Pienen palstan tulee myös olla hyvin hoidettu, jotta lisää tilaa voi saada.

If you already have a small plot in Savela, you can apply for additional space/a larger plot by queuing. In this case, send an email to the association's email address savelanpalstaviljelijat ( a ) gmail.com and tell us about your wish. Requests for additional space will be implemented via queuing order and only if the situation of completely new applications allows it. We aim to ensure that as many people as possible have the opportunity to farm at least a small plot. A small plot should also be well maintained so that more space can be obtained.

Mihin sitoudut maksamalla jäsenmaksun?

Jäsenmaksu peritään pääsääntöisesti vain yhdeltä henkilöltä per palsta eli palstan vuokranneelta yhdistyksen jäseneltä. Jäsen on voinut ilmoittaa viljelijärekisteriin myös muita henkilöitä, jotka ovat aloittaneet viljelyn palstalla yhtäaikaa varsinaisen jäsenen kanssa. Viljelijärekisteriin ei voi ilmoittaa uusia nimiä enää aloittamisen jälkeen. Nämä muut viljelijät eivät ole yhdistyksen jäseniä. Heidän on kuitenkin mahdollista saada jatkaa viljelyä jos varsinainen jäsen itse lopettaa ja joku heistä haluaa liittyä jäseneksi yhdistykseen.

Yhdistyksen jäsenen tulee olla helsinkiläinen. Jäsen sitoutuu ilmoittamaan yhteystietojensa muutokset yhdistykselle ja luopumaan palstasta, mikäli hän muuttaa pois Helsingistä. Viljelyä voi kuitenkin halutessaan jatkaa kuluvan kauden loppuun.

Jäsen viljelee vuokraamaansa palstaa itse. Palstan voi väliaikaisesti antaa toisen henkilön hoitoon, jos on itse estynyt huolehtimaan siitä. Jäsen on silti vastuussa palstansa siisteydestä ja asianmukaisesta hoidosta. Väliaikainen tilanne voi pääsääntöisesti kestää korkeintaan yhden viljelykauden. Jos jäsen ei tämän jälkeen palaa itse viljelemään palstaansa, yhdistys voi erottaa jäsenen ja vuokrata palstan uudelle viljelijälle.

Jäsenen tulee huolehtia oman palstan siisteydestä omalla kustannuksellaan. Palsta tulee siivota, kun siitä luopuu. Jos palstalle jättää tavaroita luopumisen tai erottamisen jälkeen, yhdistys saa toimia niiden kanssa parhaaksi katsomallaan tavalla.

Alueella ei saa harjoittaa liiketoimintaa.

Maksamalla jäsenmaksun ja palstan vuokran, jäsen sitoutuu huolehtimaan palstasta yhdistyksen sääntöjen ja ohjeiden sekä Helsingin kaupungin ohjeiden mukaisesti. Hän huolehtii myös siitä, että mahdolliset kanssaviljelijät palstalla toimivat samoin.

Sääntöjen ja ohjeiden noudattamatta jättäminen voi johtaa yhdistyksestä erottamiseen ja palstan menettämiseen.

What are you committing to by paying the membership fee?

The membership fee is generally charged from only one person per plot, i.e. the member of the association who has rented the plot. The member may have also entered other persons in the farmer register who have started farming on the plot at the same time as the member. New names cannot be entered in the farmer register later. These other farmers are not members of the association. However, they may be allowed to continue farming if the member himself stops and one of them wants to become a member of the association.

A member of the association must be a resident of Helsinki. The member undertakes to notify the association of any changes in their contact information and to give up the plot if they move away from Helsinki. However, they can continue farming until the end of the current season if they wish.

The member cultivates the rented plot themselves. A plot can be temporarily given to another person if the member is unable to take care of it themselves. The member is still responsible for the cleanliness and proper care of his plot. As a rule, the temporary situation can last for a maximum of one growing season. If the member does not return to cultivate his plot himself after this, the association can dismiss the member and rent the plot to a new farmer. A member must keep their own plot clean at their own expense. The plot must be cleaned when farmer stops farming. If items are left on the plot after they have left, the association may do with them as it sees fit.

No business activities are permitted in the area.

By paying the membership fee and the plot rent, the member undertakes to take care of the plot in accordance with the association's rules and instructions and the instructions of the City of Helsinki. He/she also ensures that any fellow farmers in the plot act in the same way.

Failure to comply with the rules and instructions may result in expulsion from the association and loss of the plot.
